OneDev 16.8: Build Progress and RESTful API Help for AI Agents

OneDev 16.8 makes builds easier to follow and gives AI agents a structured way to discover and use the RESTful API.

Build Steps and Progress

The new Steps tab shows each build step with its status, duration, and logs. Expand a step to inspect its output, see which step is running, and locate failures quickly.

While a build is running, a progress bar estimates how far along it is based on the running time of the last successful build in the same stream. When that history is available, you can get a sense of progress alongside the live step details.

RESTful API Help for AI Agents

OneDev now provides a JSON version of its RESTful API help at /~api/help on your server. AI agents can follow links from resources to methods to find parameters, request and response examples, and schemas. Generated from the same metadata as the API help pages, this documentation helps agents discover available operations and construct API requests.
